Mary Jean Shober Potylycki

Mary Jean Shober Potylycki MSN, is the MEDSURG-BC, NE-BC Director of Patient Care Services- Clinical Practice at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA, USA.  She’s had 20 years in Med-Surg telemetry/Cardiac Nursing with staff, educator and management positions and currently oversees staff of 42 and manages clinical projects spanning five hospital sites, with another three under construction, in the LV Hospital Network, in Eastern and North-Eastern PA.

She’s co-authored multiple publications in nursing journals as well. Her BSN in 1982 is from College Misericordia (now Misericordia Univ.), Dallas, PA, Summa cum laude, graduating first in her class. Her MSN is 1997 from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales (now DeSales Univ.), Summa cum laude. She was also a finalist for “Nurse of the Year” in the State of PA in the past.  Overall, a very illustrious nursing career and worthy of a place in the museum and book.
