As a little girl, I dreamed of one day becoming a Registered Nurse and in 1975, it was fulfilled. Florence Nightingale has been my role model in so many ways. I felt fulfilment, joy and a sense of purpose in helping others and following the pledge I took so many years ago. My hope is to always be remembered as a strong advocate for patients and nurses.
