The magnet features a photograph of Florence Nightingale by the Stereoscopic Company. Eventually becoming known as the London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company, it was founded in 1854 and continued in business until 1922. Various well-known individuals of the time were photographed by those working for a company, including John Stuart Mill.
